Ember Stomp: Coming May 2026

Get ready for Ember Stomp, launching May 2026 and returning annually as Mariposa County’s signature community wildfire-safety festival. Hosted by the Mariposa Fire Safe Council, Ember Stomp will bring together live music, local food, family fun, and hands-on wildfire education in one unforgettable day of celebration and resilience.

As part of the event, the Mariposa County Fire Preparedness Fair will feature local agencies, interactive exhibits, and demonstrations to help residents learn how to protect their homes and community from wildfire.

Ember Stomp is also a fundraiser supporting the Mariposa Fire Safe Council’s organizational capacity and the launch of a new scholarship fund for students in the Mariposa High School Grizzly Fire Science program. This fund will help local graduates pursue careers in fire, forestry, and natural resource management, strengthening the next generation of wildfire professionals right here at home.
